10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with sculpted short tousled blonde curls and defined topknot, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth with dimpled smile, two beaded upper teeth, composition five-piece flapper body, painted stockings and shoes, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: B 3 (and Goebel crown mark). Comments: from a series of character children issued by the firm, circa 1920. Value Points: rare doll with wonderful expression and detail, well defined dimples, beautiful costume. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
