Description
11" (28 cm.) All felt doll with swivel head and center seam, black bead eyes, painted brows, rounded nose, stitched ears, jointed arms and legs, over-sized feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Steiff (original button in ear). Comments: Steiff, circa 1910, from their early line of soldier dolls. Value Points: in well-preserved condition, the doll wears red-trimmed navy blue felt uniform, and has holster with sabre, back pack with attached supplies, and shoulder sack.
