Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Two-part head, thick brows, brown hair, rosy nose, scruffy unshaven face, smiling expression with row of teeth, attached ears, jointing at shoulders and hips, painted black shoes with upturned toes. Excellent condition. American, Schoenhut, 1908. The first Hobo from the Humpty Dumpty Circus, wearing original costume with rare earliest black jacket, black hat, striped red and checkered pants; the first Hobo is one of the most difficult circus figures to find.
