Bisque socket head, very plump cheeks with long-faced modeling, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with darker blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with upturned smiling lip corners, two rows of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body, straight wrists, antique costume, undergarments, shoes, lace bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, very faint line at left forehead visible with interior light only, body is original with original scuffed finish. Marks: Sie E 4. Comments: Jules Nicolas Steiner, early 1880s. Value Points: very rare model from Steiner is enhanced by piquant smile on distinctively-shaped mouth, choice bisque and decoration.
