Two-part head with sculpted brown hair, outlined brown eyes, thick brown brows, thick curly-tip moustache and goatee, red felt covered wooden hat with tassel, wooden body jointed at shoulders and hips, painted black boots. Excellent condition. American, early period Lion Tamer, from Schoenhut's Humpty Dumpty Circus, 1906, wearing original blue felt jacket with gilt painting, white shirt and tacked-on pants, black leather leggings, along with cane and hoop.
