8" (20 cm.) Bisque head with sculpted brown hair topped by a wooden cap with yellow felt accent and blue feather, painted facial features, painted brown brows and thick upturned moustache and goatee, blue eyes, wooden body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted black shoes. Excellent condition. American, Schoenhut from their Humpty Dumpty Circus, circa 1910, the Lion Tamer wears his original blue felt jacket with yellow felt trim, white shirt and tacked-down pants under black leather leggings; included is performing stand and hoop.
