8" (20 cm.) h. St, Nicholas. 6"l. horse. Paper mache St. Nicholas with painted facial features and white fur beard and moustache, has wire upper arms, paper mache hands (left hand holding feather branch), painted boots, wearing red flannel hooded coat, and separates at the waist for use as candy container. Along with wooden rocking horse with painted dappled coat, black mane, resting on rocking frame, and with mechanical wind-up mechanism which causes the horse to rock back and forth, attributed to Zinner & Sohne.
