Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, tiny blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth with very full lips in pouting expression, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 23. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, from their art character series, the doll was marketed as "Gretchen". Value Points: choice bisque, original body and body finish, the doll is presented in antique original trunk, wearing very fine antique dress, undergarments, tiny white shoes stamped C.P., along with eight additional antique dresses, and various bonnets and undergarments.
