15" (38 cm.) Brown-complexioned bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, black painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brown paper mache body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7/0. Comments: for the French market, circa 1890. Value Points: flawless complexion, original body and wonderful original costume with elaborate beading and coins. Private Collection of Marisol Valverde.
