Description
8" (20 cm.) Heavy solid plaster bust depicts a wistful-faced young child from the works of Flemish/Italian sculptor Francois Duquesnoy (1597-1643) and is considered the inspiration for several German art character dolls of the early 1900s, including K*R 115, Fany by Marseille, and the first child model of Kathe Kruse. Excellent condition.
