9" (23 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead of lady, blonde sculpted hair waved from face and captured at the back of head with a modeled black snood and pageboy curl, painted blue eyes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, sculpted bodice with collar and blue bow, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rare coiffure and bodice, original very elaborate theatrical style costume. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
