Description
9" (23 cm.) h. dress. Of ivory silk, the dropped waist dress with shaped pleats at the front has elaborate lace ruffled trim at the front bodice, with attached underpleat at hem. Along with matching silk bonnet with lace lining and feathered trim, and with original muslin chemise, petticoat and panties. Includes original cream kidskin shoes with silk rosettes and leather soles incised "6 E. Jumeau Med d'Or 1878 Paris Depose". Excellent condition. French, Jumeau, from the firm's costume archives overseen by Ernestine Jumeau, circa 1884.
