11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig with braided coronet, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: early closed mouth doll has original body and folklore costume with bead embroidered vest.
