Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, brown sculpted hair in center part, waved loosely from face with one long ringlet curl onto left shoulder, two vertical braids extend down back of head, fuchsia hair ribbon, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, modeled pierced ears, kid stitch-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 9 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful face, rarity factors include brown hair, very rare coiffure, fuchsia hair ribbon, lovely antique costume, and glass eyes.
