Solid domed bisque socket head, brown painted hair forelock details, small blue glass inset eyes, brown painted curly hair, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, smiling slightly-parted outlined lips, row of tiny porcelain teeth, well-defined ears, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 227 Paris 8. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine complexion and hair with enhancing decorative glaze, original body and body finish, original costume with Au Nain Bleu label, leather leggings, shoes.
