Description
15" (39 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, real lashes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the model was presented as "Mein Susser Liebling". Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque and modeling, enhanced by dewy patina of complexion, original body and body finish, wonderful velvet mariner costume. Private Collection of Ante Lode.
