Description
9" (23 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead of lady with perfectly-oval face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair in center-part drawn softly around the sides of face into a thickly-braided chignon at the back of head, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, shaded brows, tiny closed mouth with center accent. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: rare and elaborate coiffure, fine original finish.
