Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque socket head, sculpted short brown curly hair with blue hair band and pink flowers, painted facial features, tiny blue eyes, closed mouth with little beaded teeth, composition body jointed at shoulders and hips, painted white socks and brown two-strap shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Goebel crown mark) S 18/0. Comments: Goebel, circa 1915. Value Points: the coquette girl owns a grand array of dolls including tiny all-bisque in fitted leather case with extra costumes, seated crying child on chamber pot, seated child with white dog, baby in egg with surprise on back side, little all-bisque doll in filigree carriage, and metal filigree swinging cradle with canopy.
