Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head with slender angular face, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth, brunette mohair bobbed wig in flapper style, composition slender body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted stockings to above the knees, gold one-strap heels, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, faint hairline from chin to back of head. Marks: Germany M.H. A 300 M 12/ox. Comments: Armand Marseille for Theodor Hornlein of Sonneberg, circa 1920, the distinctive flapper model doll was presented with a variety of different color stockings. Value Points: hard-to-find model with wonderful costume of silk dress, beads, and silk floral coronet in a festive party style.
