18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black human hair in elaborately-arranged traditional coiffure, cork pate, French composition and wooden body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1895. Value Points: beautiful bisque on the all-original child, wearing original burgundy kimono with embroidered flowers over coral silk under-kimono with ribbon trim, green silk trousers, silk shoes with ribbon banding, and elaborate headdress with tinsel, metallic and bead trim.
