Description
20" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, shaded blue downcast eyes with thick upper eyeliner, heavy eyelids, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips in petulant pose, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, cotton mariner costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 109 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character series, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model with very fine sculpting giving high character definition to the features, and with fine matte bisque with touches of dewy patina, original wig, and body finish.
