Description
11" (34 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue eyes glancing to the right, thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though lips are slightly parted, two painted upper teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden body jointed at shoulders and hips, antique Tyrolean costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 34. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character reform series, circa 1910. Value Points: one of rarer models from that series, fine quality of modeling, bisque and painting, rare painted teeth and impressed cheek dimples. Private Collection of Antje Lode.
