Each has porcelain shoulderhead with black sculpted hair and painted facial features, including woman with all-wooden body with unusually-shaped knees, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted red slippers with banded ankle ties, antique costume; and man with wooden body articulated at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: woman is excellent, man is missing feet. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare body style on woman, man has unusual original theatrical style costume and feathered hat.
