9" (23 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, oval slender face and elongated throat, blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth, blonde sculpted hair drawn from face and captured in a deeply sculpted blue snood with bows at each side of face, cloth body, porcelain lower arms and legs, blue painted ankle boots, lovely costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful doll with rare decoration of snood. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
