Description
5" (13 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, tiny closed mouth, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, bisque feet, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1885. Value Points: piquant expression on the tiny painted features is most artfully achieved on the mignonette. Included is an antique trunk filled with couturier costumes for the doll hand-sewn by Louise Hedrick, and many accessories. Private Collection of Louise Hedrick.
