Description
9" (23 cm.) One-piece all-bisque woman in elegant standing pose, her head turned to the side and a book clasped in her left hand, has painted facial features with downcast eyes, mohair wig in up-swept coiffure, painted enamel necklace with turquoise beading, blue stockings, brown heeled shoes and is wearing original silk and lace gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Galluba & Hoffman, circa 1914. Value Points: superb posing and painting of features, sculpted necklace, original wig and costume.
