Description
11" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, Sonneberg composition body with jointing at shoulders, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, very faint line at back of neck likely original firing line. Marks: 3. Comments: Sonneberg, maker unknown, for the French market, circa 1885. Value Points: very dear petite doll with original wig, body, body finish and wearing lovely original costume, shoes and bonnet. Private Collection of Marisol Valverde.
