Description
7" (18 cm.) -10". Each is all wooden with one-piece head and torso, peg-jointing at shoulders and hips; and the third has one-piece head and shapely torso defined by a painted red corset, kid jointing at hips, muslin tacked-on jointing at shoulders, wooden arms and legs. Each has painted black hair with shaded outlines, the red corset doll with separately carved ringlet curls at sides of face, and painted facial features. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, late 1800s. Value Points: each with original costumes including basket of flowers. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
