Description
9" (23 cm.) h. 11" x 9" base. 5" dolls. Arranged upon a wooden platform with colorful lithographed cover and mirrored wall background, are three pairs of dolls, arranged in a dancing pose; each pair of dolls is perched upon a metal rod, and when the handle at front is turned, music plays, and the dolls twirl around as an individual couple, and then all three couples revolve around the circular cut-out in the base. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Zinner and Sohne, circa 1900. Value Points: colorful vignette, the couples are wearing factory original costumes. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
