Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, painted curly lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique flannel winter costume and carrying skates. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 686 2/0 BP (in heart) Made in Germany (head). Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1918. Value Points: rare googly model with wonderful expression, impressed dimples, fine bisque and painting. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
