Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with sculpted lavender cap having upturned edges and trimmed with black edging, dark brown sculpted short curls, sculpted ears, painted facial features, blue eyes, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, cotton gown. Condition: generally excellent, very tiny flake at black edging may be original. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: very rare model with exquisite detail of facial modeling, folds of bonnet, and stippling of hair.
