Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with deeply-modeled watermelon-slice smile, plump cheeks and chin, blonde mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, their googly marketed as "Jubilee", circa 1914. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque on the wide-eyed googly, original body and body finish. Private Collection of Marisol Valverde.
