Description
14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with painted baby hair, narrow brown glass inset eyes, lightly-painted lashes and brows, open mouth, two upper teeth, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F Nippon 2. Comments: Japan, circa 1915. Value Points: wearing superb original costume including peacock decorated silk tunic, red cotton pants, very ornate silk and cotton bonnet with decorations and tassels, silk sandals.
