Description
6" (15 cm.) One-piece bisque head and upper torso, sculpted flat-top yellow bonnet with black edging and decorated with a purple lustre feather, sculpted dark-brown curly hair, painted blue eyes and facial features, muslin midriff enclosing (non-working) bellows, peg-jointed bisque arms, one-piece lower torso and plump legs with tiny ankles and feet, painted white socks with pink scallop trim, and purple lustre ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: very rare doll whose features include unusual construction, sculpted fancy bonnet, fancy boots, dark brown hair.
