23" (58 cm.) l. 19"h. The paper mache lamb with shaved face and lower legs, closed mouth, amber glass eyes, and attached ears is lavishly covered with long curly mohair and decorated with red silk bows. His head is loosely-attached in classic nodding fashion. Excellent condition. French, circa 1890, a fine luxury toy.
