11" (28 cm.) Wax over paper mache shoulderhead with heart-shaped face and elongated throat, blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, brunette hair in up-swept fashion, original muslin body with wax over paper mache lower arms and legs, painted blue ankle boots with gilt edging. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, their 1870s fashion lady known as "staat-damen". Value Points: all original doll, in rare petite size, with beautiful original costume and coiffe, earrings, fancy boots. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
