Description
8" (20 cm.) Three circus performers with two-part heads, sculpted hair and painted facial features, wooden body with jointing at shoulders and hips, including Ringmaster with sculpted hair, moustache and beard, painted black shoes, and wearing red felt jacket, yellow vest, black top hat, and carrying baton; woman acrobat with brown topknot, original purple felt costume with metallic felt trim, and double-notched feet, and male acrobat with brown hair and moustache, felt costume with metallic trim, and double-notched feet. Very good condition. American, Schoenhut, from their Humpty Dumpty Circus, 1908 early era; also included are various accessories including rare animal cage, two white chairs, and four balancing stands.
