10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair braided wig, muslin stitch-jointed body with bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: wonderful pert expression on the closed mouth child, wearing well-detailed original traditional costume and coiffe.
