Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head, sculpted reddish-brown hair with topknot, painted blue side-glancing eyes, curvy brows defining the scowling modeling, closed mouth with mischievous expression, composition body with jointing at shoulders, hips and knees, original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 32 12/0. Comments: Recknagel, circa 1915, depicting "Moritz" from the children's story books. Value Points: rare little character with distinctive expression.
