Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, tiny porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, hollow cardboard torso which opens at the base for use as candy container, wire upper arms, bisque lower arms, paper mache lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3200 AM 2/0 dep. Comments: Germany, circa 1905, the candy container was presented by Fritz Dressel of Sonneberg as registration DRGM 408 292. Value Points: all original candy container, wearing rose cotton dress and matching bonnet, pink and white striped stockings, shoes. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
