8" (21 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue painted eyes, one-stroke upper liner, one-stroke tapered brows, closed mouth with glazed lower lip, brunette mohair wig, composition body jointed at shoulders and hips, painted white socks and brown two-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 101 21. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, "Marie" from the firm's art character series. Value Points: fine little Marie has original wig, beautiful painting, original aqua silk dress with generous lace trim, undergarments. Private Collection of Antje Lode.
