11" (28 cm.) Each has polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped armature posable body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, including lady with sculpted brown hair in coiled chignon tied with red hair ribbon, wearing original folklore costume and carrying a pair of brass baskets with fern leaves; and he with bald pate, rolled grey curls at he sides of head, grey beard stubble, and wearing silk and velvet costume including floor length green velvet coat. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, included is wooden park bench with two basket of colorful flowers.
