6" (15 cm.) All-carved wood with socket head having defined facial features and carved blue brimmed cap, painted blue eyes, brows, closed mouth, jointing at shoulders, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, late 1800s. Value Points: rare little figure with original painted costume to match cap, and having original tacked-on kidskin apron.
