Description
10" (25 cm.) All wooden with socket head, carved hair in center-part style and drawn around sides of face and behind sculpted ears forming into a chignon at nape of neck, painted brown eyes, brows, closed mouth, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 501/6 (penciled on back torso). Comments: Huggler of Brienz, Switzerland, circa 1920, the celebrated wood carving firm. Value Points: demure expression enhanced by simple yet well-carved coiffure.
