14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with firmly-pressed and oil-painted facial features and brown hair with delicately swirled curls onto forehead, small brown shaded eyes, white eye dots, strong black and brown upper eyeliner, nostril dots, closed mouth, blushed ears and cheeks, stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointed hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some light body spotting. Marks: Kathe Kruse 23077 (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, the smaller version of the Series I doll was introduced in 1927. Value Points: very dear child, with especially fine painting of hair and eyes.
