Description
17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with three back head seams, firmly-pressed and oil-painted brown hair with swirled curls onto forehead, painted facial features, lightly blushed ears, small blue/brown painted eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, lightly-tinted brows, nostril dots, small closed mouth, stitch-jointed arms and separately-stitched thumbs, disc-jointed legs, vintage green knit snow suit with matching scarf and cap, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent, some body spotting. Marks: Kathe Kruse (and illegible numbers on feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, series I, 1920s era. Value Points: especially fine pressed definition of features around the beautifully-shaded eyes.
