Description
17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with three back head seams, firmly-pressed and oil-painted brown hair with swirled curls onto forehead, painted facial features, lightly blushed ears, brown painted eyes with spiral threading, black and brown upper eyeliner, lightly-tinted brows, nostril dots, small closed mouth, stitch-jointed arms and separately-stitched thumbs, disc-jointed legs, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent, some body spotting, possible touch-up on hair. Marks: Kathe Kruse 3439 (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, series I, circa 1920.
