10" (25 cm.) Carved wooden domed head with plump cheeked face, socket neck, tiny painted side-glancing brown eyes with enhancing white eye dots, V-shaped black upper eyeliner and tiny brows, broad rounded nose, closed mouth with piquant smile, defined chin tip, light brown fleeced hair with long side braids tied with blue felt ribbons, firmly-stuffed muslin body, disc-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Fehrle (original wrist tag). Comments: Anna Fehrle, circa 1920s. Value Points: especially pleasing expression and painting, original traditional felt and cotton costume.
