Pressed felt socket head, painted facial features, outlined blue eyes with centering black shoe-button pupils, rose blushed eye shadow, single stroke brows, nostril accents, closed mouth with slight smile and row of painted teeth, blonde thread wig with braided coronet under tie on scarf, felt-covered padded armature body with over-sized feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Else Hecht, circa 1920. Value Points: wonderful expression and painting, wearing perfectly-preserved original costume including felt flowers at bodice, lace collar, rick-rack trimmed blouse and skirt, apron, black felt shoes, applied ring and earrings, and carrying woven basket of little felt ducks.
