Description
8" (20 cm.) doll, 12" armoire. One-piece carved wooden head, torso and legs of slender-bodied woman, cloth upper arms, wooden lower arms, carved hair in smooth chignon, carved facial features with natural wood finish, lightly-tinted eyes and mouth. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1920. Value Points: the well-carved doll is wearing original traditional costume, and stands alongside a wooden armoire by Dora Kuhn, circa 1930, with painted decorations and with shelves of original linens.
